Giving Back
"It means so much to us to be able to provide care for everyone who needs it."
our story
How everything started
In March of 2017, we received a call from the Director of the Wellness Center at Mayslake Independent Senior Living Community with a request for us to come and provide services for their residents. Mayslake is a non-profit organization that provides affordable living for low income senior citizens. We work with their Spread the Health Grant to provide better hearing for the residents.
We provide a monthly clinic for them.
and now
Hearing the Call - Chicagoland
In April of 2022, Dr. Dawn Heiman and Dr. Megan Worthington at Rush University Medical Center met to find a way for Hearing the Call - Chicagoland to come to Rush's new outreach Clinic and provide hearing aids for their patients who are in financial need. We work with volunteer audiologists, students, and supportive companies who help us to help those in need to hear.
"We started Hearing the Call - Chicagoland because we wanted to provide those in need with quality, reliable, hearing aids."
- Dr. Dawn Heiman, AuD
